Aluminum plaques are cast in-house, available in three sizes and ready to ship within days. They’re available with integral bracket for rod mount (rod mount sold separately) or with through-hole mount (including screws). Acrylic plaques can be cut in nearly any size or shape for no additional cost.
We have a stringent in-house laboratory testing processes for all plastics, metals, and paints. Our finishes have withstood thousands of hours’ exposure to salt fog, moisture, heat cycles, and UV light so we can confidently say they’ll last a lifetime.
Aluminum plaques ready for engraving are cast by Sign 2000 and ready to ship within days. Available with integral bracket for rod mount (rod sold separately) or with through-hole mount (including screws), they are manufactured in three different sizes. These plaques are a low-cost option to satisfy customers that require an all-metal plaque.

Cast acrylic blanks for laser engraving are available from Sign 2000 at a cost-effective price. Unless otherwise specified, rectangular with polished edges is the standard shape. Sign 2000 can custom cut nearly any shape or design for the same price with approval of the artwork.
A minimum quantity of 10 pieces is required for discounted acrylic blank pricing.
Premium anodized aluminum stand-offs are excellent for installing plaques, plates and awards. Choose from either 1/2″ or 1″ diameter decorative caps, in either 3/4″ or 1-1/2″ stand-offs. Sold in sets of four, which include four stand-offs, four threaded caps, four nylon washers and one tightening wrench.
Decorative stand-offs are only available with a clear anodized finish when sold separately. However, when sold with Sign 2000 plaques or plates, stand-offs may be painted any standard Sign 2000 color.
Enhance any Sign 2000 plaque or your own plaque or panel with a distinctive frame. Our frames are available in any standard baked enamel color. We use CAB (cellulose acetate butyrate) plastic, a non-petroleum-based plastic that is a renewable resource, as the base material. Suitable for interior or exterior use.

Back of plaque is drilled and tapped to receive threaded studs. Studs are pressed into pre-drilled wall holes and secured with adhesive and/or anchors – based on the wall type and letter weight. Studs can be aligned in-line for brick or block mortar upon request.(view drawing)
Machine screws, passing through plaque holes, with or without decorative rosettes. Screws are either bonded into wall holes with adhesive or a combination of adhesives and anchors – based on wall and plaque size and weight.
Machine screws with toggle, passing through plaque holes, with or without decorative rosettes. Screws are then tightened to expand toggle in a hollow wall cavity.
Wood screws, passing through plaque holes, with or without decorative rosettes. Screws are screwed into a wooden wall surface or bonded with adhesive to further secure.
Machine screws are inserted through 5/16”-thick black anodized stakes into the back of the plaque. Maximum plaque size is 12” x 8” for one stake or 20” x 8” for two stakes. Available in heights of 24”, 36” and 48”.
Black painted aluminum brackets are attached to the back of the plaque with machine screws. An aluminum square post bolts into the bracket at a 45˚ or 90˚ angle. Plaques over 24” wide require two posts. Posts are available in heights of 6’ or 8’. A 1”-wide post is recommended for plaques up to 250 square inches, 1-1/2” for plaques up to 450 square inches, and 2” for plaques up to 720 square inches.
